Itinerary

Day 1

Guests will be met at their hotel at 07:00 in the morning. We will drive in a northern direction through the towns of Okahandja, Otjiwarongo and Outjo to Kamanjab. Lunch en-route. Arriving at the Himba Community camp early afternoon where we will overnight. Late afternoon, we will pay a visit to a traditional Himba villiage to learn more about this fascinating nomadic tribe. Overnight in a romantic rock house where your guide will prepare a traditional Namibian braai. Enjoy the sunset.

Day 2 & 3

After breakfast, we will depart to Etosha National Park, where you will have the opportunity to see the Giraffe, Elephant, Lion, Rhino to name a few. All the waterholes at the camps have floodlight waterholes for animal viewing at night. We will do two game drives per day (early mornings and late afternoons). Dinner and overnight in the park at one of the camps.

Day 4

After breakfast we will drive in a south eastern direction to Bushmanland. Lunch en-route. We will enter a wilderness area called the Khaudom where the Bushmen are still allowed to hunt traditionally. Wildlife to be seen are elephant, rhino, lion, cheetah, leopard, wilddog and the giraffe). Dinner and overnight near a traditional Bushmen village.

Day 5

After breakfast you will have the chance to experience the traditional Bushmen hunting methods for their survival. Lunch and dinner at the camp.

Day 6

We will depart for Otjiwarongo through the towns of Grootfontein and Otavi. Lunch en-route. Dinner and overnight in Otjiwarongo.

Day 7

After breakfast, we will pay a visit to the Cheetah Conservation Fund to observe and learn about the survival of the cheetah in the wild. After lunch we will return to Windhoek, arriving late afternoon.
